Out of work due to COVID? We are hiring!

We are looking for compassionate people who have lost their jobs due to COVID-19 and are looking to get back into the workforce. Work one-on-one with adults with intellectual disabilities: No experience necessary and we provide you with the full support you need to be successful. Work with individuals at home and/or in the community; assist them in achieving their personal goals; and teach them skills that foster independence in their day-to-day life.

For the past 20 years Independence Professionals has enriched the quality of life for our individuals through inclusion, skill building, and by providing the opportunity to live “everyday lives.” We have created a safe environment in which we can continue our mission during this current pandemic. We follow and enforce all CDC guidelines and all of the governor's orders, and have placed additional safely guidelines and training to assure our employees and individuals remain safe. We highly value the health and safety of our staff and individuals. PPE (personal protection equipment) is provided and we offer hazard pay above the posted rates.

We offer both temporary and permanent positions, weekday, weekend, day and/or evening hours available. We can design a work schedule that fits your schedule and meets your needs.

QUALIFICATIONS:  

must be at least 21

valid driver’s license 

reliable vehicle

no criminal record

good communication skills

willingness to learn

reliable

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour:  based on education, experience, flexibility, and knowledge of community resources

 

COVID-19 considerations:
As previously mentioned, we adhere to all CDC guidelines and Governor's orders, and additional safety guidelines and training are put into place by Independence Professionals. Safety is our priority for our all. PPE and Hazard pay are in place.
